The Visual Arts Center is a Waukegan Park District facility offering fine arts classes, workshops, and studio space for artists of all skill levels. As part of the Park District’s Cultural Arts Division based at the nearby Jack Benny Center, the Visual Arts Center hosts drawing, painting, and craft classes throughout the year, along with yearly studio space leases for working artists. The center is located just off Sherman Avenue, one block west of West Street.
