Waukegan BMX is a USA BMX-sanctioned outdoor racing track operated as a volunteer-run affiliate of the Waukegan Park District at Henry Pfau Callahan Park. The track hosts racing most Sundays during the spring-through-fall season, plus a Thursday night race series in the summer, welcoming riders from age one through adults over fifty. Beginner-friendly open houses and introductory sessions are held throughout the season for new riders looking to try the sport.
